    • On the last training run 3 days before my first ever Great North Run I developed tight left leg muscles. At short notice I was able to arrange a sports massage with Fitness Matrix to coincide with my Friday arrival in Newcastle. Lucia at FM did an amazing job to ease up my muscles and get me into shape for the Sunday race. The Great North Run turned out to be one of the best days of my life as I ran smoothly throughout the race and beat my training time for the distance. Thankyou Fitness Matrix :))

    • Jimmy is an excellent motivator and is always encouraging you to improve by setting small achievable goals to allow you to reach your ultimate goals which in my case was to officiate at the London 2012 Paralympics which I achieved and now we have new ones for the future. As a personal trainer, I don’t think you could get much better and I also value the friendship that training together has made.

    • I’ve been training with Fitness Matrix since late 2010 and I’m addicted. I’m still aspiring to the six pack and may never get there. However I now have more energy and a much better grasp of all issues relating to my personal fitness and am definitely in better shape than I was and certainly would be if I didn’t train. The facilities are perfect even for the most self conscious. I used to have a perception of the type of person that an instructor would but Jimmy is certainly nothing like that and over the years
      he has become a really good friend who makes a painful training session remain dare I say it “fun”!!

    • I bought the groupon offer for my mum and I and been doing spinning and spin and tone classes with claire over easter. I remember you saying to let you know how we were finding them and I just wanted to say my mum and I have absolutely loved the classes, weve done a couple in gyms around jesmond but claires been really great and once I’m back from uni and we’ve done our 10 classes we’ll definitely be staying on!
